Mark started his career in silicon valley with the Paul Allen group. after a variety of tech related positions he pursued his interest in furniture. as a designer for pottery barn he helped build the furniture department to a half billion dollars. He then moved to Restoration Hardware where he collaborated in the launch of the Bed and Bath division. Mark left corporate to grow the family business, India Rose llc. under his co-ownership the company established over 500 new accounts, 40 publications, and 10 million in sales. his ongoing work as a consultant includes over 25- clients across a wide range of industries including home, hospitality, education, cannabis, interior design and architecture, and tech.

Mark has also dedicated the last 12 years building the Industrial Design Graduate Program at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. When he is not traveling the world with his family, Mark is in California where he collaborates with his wife and fellow designer, Carter Bolick.
